VR Training Simulations: How VAEZR Is Transforming Workforce Training with Immersive Learning

The Growing Impact of VR Training Simulations and Immersive Learning

Molly Carrick Molly Carrick

VAEZR is committed to pushing the boundaries of immersive technology to have a meaningful impact. Through our work in augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR), we design dynamic digital experiences that drive engagement and learning. This year, our focus is on the growing power of VR simulations — tools that improve safety, reduce costs, and deliver highly effective, repeatable learning experiences by letting users train, test, and adapt in realistic virtual worlds before stepping into the real one.

Custom Virtual Reality Training Simulations for Real-World Scenarios

VR simulations allow for users to gain experience without the expense, or sometimes physical danger, that a situation in the world involves. For each client, we can design a unique environment and model tools and machinery to match the virtual world to what the trainee would experience in real life.

Flexible VR Training Management Through Remote Content Delivery

We utilize a Content Management System (CMS) to deliver maximum flexibility to our virtual trainings. Our VR headsets are linked to our CMS so that we can configure training scenarios remotely. Through this, we are able to tweak experiences to match a variety of circumstances — such as changing the time of day to reflect morning or night, weather shifts, and different messaging or communication with characters. This flexibility allows our headsets to be sent all over to different training facilities or individuals’ homes while delivering a multitude of immersive simulations.

Improving Safety, Readiness, and Performance with Virtual Reality Training

Exposure to different scenarios, settings, and circumstances allows trainees to gain experience in a situation that otherwise may not have come about naturally under supervision.  This improves safety and awareness as well as saves time on training hours.  It gives trainees confidence that they can be prepared for whatever situation they come across in the future.

The Future of VR Training Simulations: AI-Powered Learning and Soft Skills Development

Now, with the ability to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) more fluidly into simulations and applications, these trainings are bound to get even more realistic and be produced with less time. Currently, we are exploring ways to use AI to evaluate soft skills in our simulations. Whatever the future holds, you can expect VAEZR to be on top of it and continue to deliver innovative work that improves the effectiveness of virtual training by making them realistic and engaging. We aim to create experiences that not only simulate real-world challenges, but also empower individuals to grow, adapt, and succeed in their roles.
