Field of Dreams-Inspired Commercial Video Production for Fareway

To celebrate Iowa’s rich baseball heritage and Fareway’s deep roots in local communities, VAEZR Studio partnered with Fareway to create ​“Frank of Dreams,” a commercial inspired by the beloved film Field of Dreams. Filmed with a cinematic approach and centered around Fareway’s mascot, Fareway Frank, the spot brings together baseball, family traditions, and great food in a uniquely Iowa story. The commercial follows Frank as he emerges from a cornfield to join a backyard baseball game before gathering around the grill for a classic Fareway cookout, capturing the nostalgia and community spirit that define both the brand and the state.

VAEZR Studio provided full-service video production, combining creative storytelling, location cinematography, editing, and post-production to recreate the magic and emotion associated with one of Iowa’s most iconic films. Featuring a memorable twist on the famous line ​“If you build it, they will come” — reimagined as ​“If you grill it, they will come” — the commercial successfully connected Fareway’s renowned fresh meat counter with themes of family, tradition, and community.
